The name sometimes conjures up old and dusty, and sometimes the wrong image for the wines. We should remember that the fine wines coming from Burgundy, Bordeaux and such places as Rioja and Tuscany to name a few are well deserved of their position at the top table. This has been proven down through the years where quality has developed and improved.

The old world has had a strong influence on the new world but it is also fair to say that the opposite is also true whereby many European wines have become softer and more easy on the palate to the novice and newcomers to wine. This can also be seen in the more informative labels that appear now on certain wines such as JME from Rioja and Les Jamelles from Vin de Pays. We do hope you enjoy our range!
